Bannesled is a Micronation. It has a very small area and population. it also has many of the same characteristics as macronations: its own culture; its own laws; and, most importantly, its own independence. Some micronations have no land at all and as few as one citizen. Still others have large tracts of land with thousands or millions of citizens, or at least they claim to have the land. Still others claim areas in remote parts of the world, or even on different planets. Each is different.
