Bannish Proficiency Certificates will be awarded to those who satisfactorily complete the examination process. Applicants will be tested on both their oral and written skills.

The oral component is in discussion form. The examiner will evaluate the applicant on their level of spoken formality and their ability to interpret and employ Bannish terminology.

The written component is comprised of two sight passages. One will have to be translated from English to Bannish and the other from Bannish to English. The applicant will be evaluated on the closeness of their translations and those of Bannish bilingual officials.
