Story of Independence:

On June 12, 1998 after much thought, a young girl started a small chain of events that would eventually lead to the creation of the Kingdom of Bannesled. The first thing she did was buy her bedroom from her parents. The room was sold for $3 can. on June 12, 1998. She then roughly sketched out a nation. On June 24, 1998, by signing The Declarations of the People of Bannesled, she successfully separated her bedroom from the Dominion of Canada, creating an independent nation: The Kingdom of Bannesled.
